Dimly lit diner booths were a typical Thursday night in December for the college-faring Megan. Day after day of class, followed by countless exams at the end of the week. Nobody told her that getting a higher education would be as difficult as it was! And right when she was about to start her rough draft of the paper due the Wednesday before Christmas...

Her roommate, Kaitlyn, peeped up from her booth the moment she noticed who was sighing behind her. Kaitlyn was taking a much different course than Megan: Culinary Arts. Not only were they different in subject matter, they were different in workload sizes. Kaitlyn dealt with things that took place in the classroom; Megan dealt with more trivial matters: entry-level classes to make up for her lackluster grades from high school.
