These are some swords for a story I designed. It was inspired by watching an LP for A Link to the Past, which was focused on a sword, and me looking at Swords on Wikipedia. Heres the background I've wrote for the story:

In another time and space, there exists a land known as the Xiphos Terrain. In this land were 3 cultures; The Royalists Edel (German for Noble), The Neutral and Secretive Cinquedea, and the Religious Religios (German for Religious).

High above the Terrain, in an alternate dimension of the same space, laid another world, known as Tekko. This world had very little life on it and could only be accessed through special portals on Xiphos. At the very heart of this world laid the Legacy, a massive sphere of immense energy. Legend says that the sphere possesses a portal that can lead to new worlds, but it has never been proven.

Upon discovering the Legacy, the Inhabitants of Xiphos began to think that their world was a prison and the Legacy was the way out. Seeking to break free, Cinquedea and Edel launched an expedition to Tekko. The expedition was a massive failure, with most of the soldiers dead, many scattered and stranded, and only 2 reached the Legacy. The Soldiers were both vaporized by it and the only things of theirs that survived were their swords, which landed outside the portal.

The swords were infused with energy from the Legacy and their steel was powerful enough to cut through anything. However, their full power could only be released by the corresponding Bloodline of it's nationality. Cinquedea's could only use theirs, while Edel's could only use theirs. The 2 nations took the blades back and secured them for safety.

However, the Legacy suddenly unleashed a horde of monsters through the portal. The beasts killed many Cinquedea's before the combined force of them and Edel were able to push them back. Several Religios had their hearts torn from their bodies, and were given special devices as replacements. The devices gave them life and also powered their hearts, which were used to create a seal on the portal, stopping the monsters from returning.

The Cinquedea's took their blade and retreated deep into the Forest of Xiphos. The Edel's proudly displayed their blade in their hall of arms. However, not all of the monsters were vanquished. A Physical manifestation of the Legacy was formed and began creating a new horde of monsters on Xiphos.

These are the swords infused with the energy. I'm planning for this story to be a babyfur one, but it could easily be adapted to a serious one. Give me feedback.
