Recently, a very good friend, warpwarp1929, passed away due to that damned menace, Cancer. Joe, as he was better known, never deserved such a fate. He was a kind fellow, cheerfully chatting with people who attended his art streams, and even leaving some encouraging comments on many of my pictures.

He was a skilled artist. He kept putting himself down, but he shouldn’t have, he had serious talent. In fact, I went to him several times for advice on things such as character structure and other things, I actually had the decency to record one of his tutorials, which I will make sure to preserve as a reminder of his kindness.

I’m not a religious person. Regardless, I hope there is a peaceful afterlife, and that Joe is finally enjoying eternal bliss wherever he is. Thank you Joe, thank you for being the best friend you could be.
