My dad planned an overseas business meeting into a family vacation, somehow. I don't quite understand it. I'm not really into it too much, but I like beaches (ssshhh). The unfortunate thing is that means I'll be gone for almost two weeks. Lolly was. Less-than-thrilled about that, to say the least. But I understand, it's a really long time.

Her mom kinda saw how she was starting to get all worked up when I explained it to her, even when it was still like a month away. Nearer to it, she took us on a little day-trip to the mall. While we were there, somehow we wound up in Build-a-Skoonken; a subsidiary of Norville Co. where you can build your very own Skoonken made with 100% Authentic Norville Floofen™. ...Anyway, so we stopped in there and her mom suggested that we build Skoonkens of each other, for each other. You can even record a little something and put it in a voicebox, and the Skoonken will play it when you squeeze their Norville or something. So, we did that.

Once we got to the hotel and I was able to sit down, I wrote a little letter right away. Hopefully it'd get to her before too long.

(Don't tell her, but I didn't bring her Stuffie-form with me... I really wanted to, but I was worried it would get stolen or lost, or that I'd be really-super-dumb and forget it. And it's totally not because my siblings would make fun of me the whole dang time if I did. I brought a proxy-Stuffie with me, though, so it still counts.)
