Maya has once or twice remarked about how she likes southern things. Mainly the accent but I kinda take that to mean the whole kit-and-kaboodle. So I decided to help her get a right-proper experience as a cowgirl. Went down to the ranch in proper attire, got us some horses and, after going over all the particulars of riding, went on our merry way.

I reckon I didn't see the corners of her lips slip down once the whole trail.
