I felt that it may interest some people if I uploaded the current tests and progress made in the creation of Raczoon's creature with Fibermesh in ZBrush 4r6. We're slowly unraveling the complexities of this algorithm and finally starting to achieve the results we want, which is a short fur that allows some skin visibility, but still covers the form completely. This should hopefully allow the definition of musculature to show through.

I don't have the most powerful of processors, and it makes some limitation on what I can achieve with my laptop alone, but I hope to provide the best results that I can regardless. I am so excited that we're making progress on this tricky conundrum! Ask questions and critique if you have anything you'd like to share. : )
