K'rrpt;la pauses as it crests the mountainous peak, light-sensitive cells communicating a large beach below to its grapefruit-sized brain, lying just beneath its translucent epithelium. Multiple conspecifics gather at the hallowed place, to correlate with the tidal shift; the release of their unhatched offspring is soon to pass. The cycle shall begin anew.

Thanks! I'm glad that you think so. : ) I don't work with a lot of crustacean/arthropod/insectoid critters too often, so this was a good change of pace.
