Finally did some work today, and I put in Tauryk's teeth and started some simple details around the face.

That bite is gonna hurt alot and if he/she got enough strength in the neck to move the head like a shark does ... owy

  I've been wondering how tough Tauryk's mouth and lips must be - sharks don't close their mouths tightly, and have no 'lips' to speak of - surely those teeth, along with the serrations on them, would be murder on any normal mouth tissue!

    hmmm maybe the lips are more beak like, hard enough to withstand rasps from the teeth?

      That's what I'm thinking, or just really thick like the pads where the upper incisors would be in some ungulates' mouths. : D

        Harder gum pads? Well that could also work which reminds me it took a long time before I understood most vegan critter miss their upper teeth in real world 0.o

        Yeah, it's such a bizarre morphological feature - it took me a while to get my head around it too!
