Recently i was bored, and i made up this challenge, and last night i attempted it.
so for this challenge, you need a cat plush, typically a medium sized one.
So you pretty much face the cat plush towards the wall, and you fall asleep next to it.
If it works correctly, you should see a cat in your dream, either following you around, or is seen idle somewhere in your dream.
When you wake up, the cat plushie is turned around, staring either straight at you, or around from its position, or maybe even peeking out.

It worked for me, but all i could remember from my dream is throwing something at my sister, the cat sitting near the back corner of the place in my dream. When i woke up, the cat was turned around.

To be honest, i have nothing to say towards this challenge, it probably was a coincidence to work.
I feel that if you have a feline that has recently passed on, this challenge may be alot more affective, maybe the cat is trying to visit you from another realm? welp, i dont know lets just say i made this up, and its probably as fake as trying to do the charlie charlie challenge (i did it many times with my friend when i was in elementary, and it never worked, except for once, but it turned out it was the wind}
