Lauren examines her new avian form, a water phoenix. Different from her normal equine body, she looks at the deadly talons on each finger and toe, temporarily distracted from the wings on her back. She silently wonders if she should dare attempt flight, or if she should remain an earthbound bird for a while. More importantly, will she be stuck like this, or is it temporary? Perhaps it was a side effect from the phoenix possession....
