Lauren returned from her mission transformed, a feminine crux, with long curled ears and a thick tail. She greeted Topaz and Chris with a hug, both of them pleased to see her returning home safely, but surprised at her altered form. The crux explained that she had been changed by the crux species into one of their own, and that she had brought along the way to restore herself, developed in a lab while there, but she wanted to enjoy being a crux for a while longer.

"What's it like being a crux?" Topaz asked.

"You really want to know?" Lauren said with a smirk.

The siamese kitten purred gently. "Yes, I've never seen a crux before... Did it hurt?" She leaned real close to Lauren.

The feminine crux bit her paw, causing the kitten to pull her arm back. "Ouch! What did you do that for?"

Chris watched in surprise as Topaz's transformation began. Her ears lengthened and her tail changed shape. Lauren bit her ram lover before he could react, and his own body began to transform. He fell back as his hooves became toes, and his horns vanished.

Topaz tugged at her ear. "That was a little strange. Oh my."

Lauren giggled. "You'll get used to it."
