I tried limiting myself to a five color palette, as inspired by hermithehusky on da.
trust me, i'll try to make the next one less "character sits on thing and stares into distance" ;)

I think this turned out fairly well, it makes backgrounds more fun, and it motivates me to draw more. I'll definitely be doing more like this.
