Antiquity 4 colour study by Lachland-Nightingale

Antiquity 4 colour study

Lachland-Nightingale

So here is a next stage getting some idea about the colour scheme...

This composition is quite different from how it started out - semi-square like Antiquity 2 - the girl/lady's proportions became elongated - the flying bird was shifted higher, some foreground was added...

The mountain slope that leads directly to her face - no -that's awkward, so that will be changed...The ship/sail behind her might be bigger so that it frames her, or maybe smaller, a few ships at dock....

And should she stay a feline, as in the other Antiquity series (?), or be a wolf...

Many pictures i do seem to go through this gradual unfolding, even when it seems they have jumped into life full blown....

So, i can pretty slow at times...

But i enjoy all the images i come across along the way...

Painter X, original pixel size for the study, eventual version is around 7000 pixel high and will have lots of detail....But then to translate that to real media painting.....

...it's going to be around three feet high....?

This version is updated from the old one at dA and FA - a Weasyl exclusive! Heee!
