Highlighted and bright more detailed texture parts of the foreground against the dimmer Background helps so the player what they can and can't collide with. It also helps that D-Resonate will not have bottomless pits in favor of visible traps and encourage exploration down holes. All to make sure that any mistakes the player makes are because of them rather then questionable level design. :)
