I did an oC session with Draikyr today and he suggested I dress Kree up a bit. So I put some clothes on him roughly matching the design of the stuff I'm wearing (It's Winter here in Australia, which means we can't run around in shorts like we do the other 3/4 of the year 😛 ).

He's got a pair custom-fit shoes to make his foot-thumbs comfy. They have a bit of a bend to them but they're not as prehensile as some theoretical "foot-gloves" might be. I considered giving him some tail-covering pants, but instead opted for some sort of thermal bandage tail wrap thing? Gotta keep yer tail covered in Winter time too yknow! 😛

Kree's biggest weakness is cold weather, he doesn't have much ability to combat heat loss (at least, not without thick insulation-armor plating). This inevitably lead me to thoughts on how he handles himself in the heat of Summer. As a shapeshifter, he can easily create a lot of heatsink shapes on his body to vent excess body heat. Here he's taken inspiration from Stegosaurus spine plates. Draikyr suggested that he probably built them by munching on some soda cans. Recycling! Shapeshifter-style! 😄

This Winter/Summer thing also inspired me to retcon that Kree's ears change size in different temperatures. Big when it's hot and small when it's cold. As it's not an exceptionally cold day today (e.g., we get no snow here), the Winter picture is mostly regular-sized ears. In proper cold weather those ears would probably be quite stubby XD ( Or as Draikyr put it, "He gets shrinkage in the cold x3" )
