DAY 22: Nouva

Aww yiss! Back in the heyday of Dance Dance Revolution, I had this love of going to the arcades, watching people dance on the machines (or dance myself, though I sucked at it) and let the music inspire any new characters I drew. The result was this whole world where everyone has that inner song inside, represented by their own personal Dancer, and our hero diving from one person to another, seeking their Dancers to learn and train with them for the sake of saving the world from a thing! Anyway, there was a group of rivals who were themselves Dancers hoping to prove how powerful they are, most based off creatures from Alice In Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass (the books) and named after certain DDR songs. Long story short, Nouva here is the Gryphon and named after the “Afronova” DDR song. Will draw her Mock Turtle partner again eventually, but not for this. So enjoy the tiger gryphon, dangit.
