The Tesuri is a creatu I've had a love-hate relationship with for a long time. It was the first pet revamp I ever did for Rescreatu, and at the time, I had no idea how rocky its relationship with Res' userbase was. The first time I revamped it was actually its third incarnation, a vital piece of information I was not aware of at the time. To this day, the very first Tesuri graphic remains the favorite of some users who still remember it. My last revamp was good and certainly met the art standard, but those that remembered the first Tesuri clearly voiced their laments for the way it kept changing, getting ever further from the grace and delicate form of the original.
Fast-forward to five years later, and I am presented with the opportunity to update the pet once again. This time, I took the utmost care in considering what people loved about the original pet in order to honor those long-time Tesuri fans as best I could. Obviously I could not change much about the base of the design due to consistency of other site graphics, but the style, texture, and proportions were all able to be edited. Through a year period of staff feedback, correction, and about 5 million different sketches, I finally arrived at what you see here, as hopefully what can be described as my "Tesuri Redemption".
