I am a single mother of a beautiful 7 year old girl who is my world. I am a new artist/hobbyist who coincidentally has never taken any art classes. However a few months ago, my daughter asked me to draw with her in which my reply was "are you crazy!? I can't draw..."
Since I am a fan of anime and manga I decided to try my hand at drawing something in that style for my daughter as she enjoys it too. Turns out I am not too bad at it for someone who hasn't picked up a pencil since childhood (I'm almost 30 now). And so my hidden passion for drawing anime/manga style was revealed to me and I have been practicing everyday since then. Clearly I do not consider myself an artist (yet) nor do I consider my attempted artwork to be masterpieces (yet) but maybe one day I will get amazing at it (crosses fingers). So please don't judge my artwork in a negative light as I am a complete amateur at this. I don't even know anything about shading and what not (will be learning eventually) and over time I imagine I will get much better. As for now I would just like to share what I have been able to do and if anyone has any positive feedback or positive criticism that will benefit me I would love to hear it!
