Posting a regular noodle session.
I figure since ppl enjoy seeing artists' doodles, maybe some of you would like to hear a musician's noodles.
Part 2 of the chopped up recording.
I'm using an EQ pedal to pump 1k up around +15dB and -12dB at 10k, so it produces this really round, smooth, clear and jazzy kind of tone.
Also I'm using compression before the EQ, and there's a little digital delay pedal in there after the EQ to give a li'l atmosphere.
Nothing post-processed, it's all pedals. Recorded direct into the computer.
Still on the neck pickup, here I turn on the TC Electronic Mojo Mojo Overdrive pedal to see what happens to my tone. I thought it would be kinda mushy or lose a lot of dynamics.
Turns out it's a really rather transparent overdrive sound even in this kinda direct-in setting. I really think it sounds like my original tone plus some intermodulation during multiple notes. Nice <3
