It's kinda funny...I sorta remember him as being kinda pushy in the original Gold/Silver games and never thought much about it. But when I read the manga (Pocketmonsters Special/Pokemon Adventures) by Hidenori Kusaka and MATO, I really liked Lance a lot...even though he was a psychopathic little bugger that wanted to destroy humanity! XD But I eventually saw the anime episodes they featured Lance in (a 2-parter in the Johto episodes and a 2-parter in the Hoenn episodes) and I really liked that version of Lance, too. I think they made him a tad nicer in the HeartGold/SoulSilver games, but he was still a bit pushy! XD

Ahh see I only ever saw the game not the manga or anime, perhaps that's why.
