A character from a fantasy story I did some years back...just kind of doodling old characters lately. The story was called "Angel Badge" and it was about a war between Vampires and Elves and an Angel sent to stop the war. Like all wars, not all Vampires and Elves wanted to fight...so...you know, eventually the story ends with a kind of peace between the two races.
This is Ten, the Black Angel--his name is a play on words, for the Japanese word "ten" (heaven) and "ten" being that he is the 10th Angel sent to restore peace to the world. His nickname "The Black Angel" comes from the fact that in his Angelic form, he has black wings--the only angel that has black wings in all of the heavenly realms. I didn't have a chance to depict the tattoos on his forearms, though...because of the pose...they are symbols of the sun (representing Elves in the world) and the moon (representing Vampires in the world).
Ten is a character I created for an original story.

Thank you! I think I drew him A LOT when I was writing the story...I know I had stationery and everything. I drew a lot of Lucien, too...and the female Elf in the story (blanking on her name! lol). Rail didn't come along until near the end of the story and I drew him more after I actually finished the story than I did when writing it! chuckle

Thank you! I wanted to do something with vampires that all the books at the time were not doing. So I thought if vampires represented "night", what kind of people would represent "light"...and came up with elves for that one.
