I recently bought some Copic marker paper on sale and thought...oooh, let's try some marker paper with my markers (I posted a journal about this over at FA last week). However, I have a wide mix of art markers that not only include Copics...but also Prismacolors, Artist's Loft (Michael's home-brand) and The Fine Touch (Hobby Lobby's home-brand). I generally use Bristol (smooth) paper for the majority of my marker-colored art.
Just as an FYI...Copic marker paper does not work so well with Prismacolor markers or something that's not really a COPIC marker. It probably has to do with the pH and alcohol content of other markers.
This particular piece was colored with Prismacolor markers on Copic marker paper...you can see some pretty bad streaking--and if you saw the actual piece, you can see where the paper has been "eaten away" by the Prismacolor markers.
So, some gijinka-Shadow the Hedgehog on marker paper, with markers that shouldn't be used on it! lol
Shadow the Hedgehog belongs to Sega, gijinka version is my own design.

It still looks pretty darn good. And hey--those streaks gives the pic a neat textured look lol
