So I bought these square paper packets called "artist's tile", mainly I bought them because they were Bristol (although vellum, not smooth as I usually use) and they were the thick paper as I'm used to. For some reason the Bristol (smooth) paper in the pads is thinner than it used to be.
This is also the first drawing I colored using my Faber-Castell colored pencils, that I got on clearance at Michael's a little while back. These pencils are NICE, very smooth...they don't have the rough texture you see in a lot of colored pencils, but they don't get dark easily unless you press REALLY hard on the paper with them. I have a limited color set, so I used only what colors were in the set on this picture!
Wabi/Despair Dog species belongs to me.
