I spent about a week coloring this one! I like how it turned out! For the glow, I used a mix of really pale "watercolor brush" and spray-can.

And thank you so very much!!!! hugs

I erased a couple times on the layer because I couldn't get it as light as I really wanted...but I think it turned out pretty decent in the end!

      Thank you! hugs

I can only do sketchy lines...and, yep, this is the one. I spent like a week (an hour each night) coloring it! laughs

I'm like super-happy with the glow effect. I used three different light colors and three different spray can styles (blended) to get it to work. The rest is colored with the watercolor brush. I still have to paint it all by hand, because I can't figure out the magic wand tool and my lines are too broken for paint can dump......... lol

And thank you so much...it means a lot coming from you!!! hugs

Lol, don't worry Patty, You'll get the hang of it. Just keep practicing! This is much better than my first attempts at digital ^ ^
If you ever need help or have questions, let me know!

As for the magic wand tool, it lets you select areas of the picture that are closed in. Like say you drew a circle, and as long as there were no gaps in the lines, you use magic wand tool to select the inside, then bucket tool to color it whatever you want. Though, I much prefer to make my brush as big as it can get and color it in like that, as the bucket tool has been known to miss smaller spots, like something with points/corners.

Painting by hand isnt bad though, just time consuming. I still paint by hand on a lot of pieces as I think its fun =D

I just started using spray can tool, and omg... I love it. It gets the coolest effects, and thats also now how I color all my eyes!

You're improving a lot Patty, omg. If you continue to do digital, I'm super very excited to see how you develop!
And so early on you're learning to do the tricks of the trade haha xD

If only I didn't have a job I could do more things like practice this stuff...or read a book... lol

I'll just be keeping at it as I have the time!
