For quite a while I've been debating on whether to go through with this or not. A long while ago, now, I started a comic called "Lemonade"--a fun little parody thing of RPGs, farming sims and Animal Crossing style games. I was unable to finish the comic, even though I had it plotted out from start to end--mainly because while I was working on it, my mom got sick and passed away. After that, I didn't have the enthusiasm to finish.

Anyhoo.......the story was always meant to conclude with Grape learning he was the missing Knight of a kingdom, who had gone out to find the runaway Princess--that Princess turned out to be Kiwi, the mysterious stranger who entered the same town Grape did, masquerading as a [boy/male character] Bard. At the end of the story, they would fall in love and have a happily ever after--and like a lot of those sim kinds of fantasy RPGs, it would end with the birth of their child, setting up for a "Next Generation" kind of deal.

While working on some other things this past weekend--I kinda started doodling the next generation characters. The fun thing is always coming up with the vegetable/fruit names I began with in the original story. Since the children are from "mixed species" parents, as well--there would also be the hybrid look in the children. So, there's Plum--the daughter of Grape and Kiwi, who is a Wolbbit (Wolf-Rabbit). Then there's Tangerine--the son of Lime and Lemon, who is a Shog (Shark-Dog). And Raspberry--the son of Blueberry and Strawberry, which makes an Alicorn I suppose, his parents are a Pegasus and a Unicorn, though. XD I also went with anime-cliched designs for their outfits............Plum has "schoolgirl", Tangerine has "hero" (complete with scarf!) and Raspberry has "fantasy".

Instead of a comic, though--I think their story will be told through simple spot illustrations and maybe 4-panel gag comics. I don't intend on a time-table, either, just when I have time to do more of their story. :)
