It's my favorite Soul Reaper's birthday today (3-27), so here's a drawing. :)

I've come to like short-haired Izuru a lot, though that lasted all of a hot minute in the manga before his death. I probably won't watch the anime adaption of the final arc (" The Thousand Year Blood War"), simply because the final story arc angered me in so many ways, but then--the last few story-arcs of the manga I found ugly and boring and I truly believed that Tite Kubo should've ended the series with the defeat of Aizen. It was an ending that would've made the series come full-circle, since at the beginning of "Bleach" Ichigo often wished he didn't have his "ability to see ghosts" and the loss of his powers would've satisfied a full circle story-arc for the character. shrug

But, meh. When something's popular sometimes creators have a tendency to linger too long--I can name a couple other very popular series that went longer than I personally felt they should have. That's a digression I won't go much into. And really, this is just my personal opinion--so, I realize it may not be everybody's opinion who read or watched "Bleach". Some people liked the latter arcs (though the endings of each the manga and the made-up ending of the original anime had devoted fans and haters alike), some didn't. But I enjoyed the manga up through the final battles with Aizen and after that, my enthusiasm about the series ended and I would consider myself a fan of the series up to that point. :)
