I got this pose concept from a "How to Draw Chibi Animals" book--I think I did pretty well in adapting it to Wabi's unusual Prelude form. The thing is, Prelude Wabi is actually more rounder and abstract than this--so, it's more of an abstract version of an abstract form of an OC? XD

Mostly, I was trying harder to do watercolor browns. It's such an ugly color as a watercolor.......and trying to make Wabi's slightly reddish-brown was very hard. You can tell I didn't succeed. If I put too much red in it, it was garish--I had to mute it with a dab of black.......which darkened it to this. sigh Honestly, I just gave up trying to get that reddish-brown.

I used a different pro brand of watercolor (pan) for this, Koi brand--Hobby Lobby had some of theirs on clearance sale. So..........can watercolor (pan) cakes get "too old" at some point? Maybe that's why I had such issue, they were on clearance because they were too old???
