This is done with completely a set of watercolor cremes--these are a set of metallic ones and you can definitely see that more in real life than in the photo here.
The difference between standard watercolor cremes and the metallic ones may be that sometimes using the water on them isn't as smooth with the metallic ones as it is with the regular ones.
Thanks! :D
I do like the watercolor cremes, they’re a nice smooth blend—like acrylics, really. But you can’t get a lot of detail from them—like crayons, you can’t get a good “point” on them for small spaces. So, they’re good for wide open spaces or large designs. :)
That probably wouldn’t work, because the watercolor cremes are soft and smooshy. Only if you used the pencils first, I think…..because you’d probably scrape the watercolor cremes stuff up if you tried to do pencil on top of it! XD
Soft and smooshy! XD
You know those Crayola (or knock-offs) “twist-up crayons”? Well, these are like that. But they’re very soft when you twist it up. I’ll take a picture to show you sometime later! :)
Supposedly it says you can apply water to a brush and swab the tip of the “crayon” to get color (ala pan-based watercolors) but as soft as the stuff is I’m afraid to melt it all away! XD
