So I finished an RPG. Granted, I played the original "Persona 5" to completion when it first came out--my ability to play RPGs to an end anymore has been limited by my life, health, job and other hobbies. Being moody, mopey and worried about my health and job made me binge-play "Persona 5 Royal" from start to end. I wasn't enthusiastic about the extra story--it felt very much like an add-on and fanservice, but it had some Akechi in it, so was worth it for that.
I'm a sucker for the "redeemed villain". chuckle Or "dark hero", if you want.
Persona 5 and characters belong to Atlus. :)
I love this! I was also happy with more Akechi, but not everything about Royal. I mostly appreciated getting more of the characters that I wanted to see, and that we got more of Akechi.
Yeah, that’s about how I felt. I feel like they didn’t put much effort to blend the extra story into the real story, plot-wise. Yeah, I’m happy to see more Akechi—and I was pleased they didn’t skip the “he’s dead” part (which I saw coming a mile away! XD)—until that final cinematic when the MC looks out the window and sees him at the train station. How......how do they explain such an important plot thing away like that simply for fanservice???? @_@
But I’m still glad I played it anyways. I have really high hopes for a “Persona 6”, so I hope Atlus will stop doing spinoffs and focus on a new game. :)
Thanks so much! I’m glad you liked this pic! :D

Looks neat! I like the limited palette.
