Pokemon Day: Kansai Comedy #2 by keirajo

Pokemon Day: Kansai Comedy #2

keirajo

I have nothing new for Pokemon Day (cries), but I have old stuff I've never posted here. So here are the short comics I did as filler for my "Pokemon Kansai" fan-fic.

"Pokemon Kansai" was a fan-fic I wrote a number of years back (before I came to Weasyl at all) about 16-year-old Ash taking one of his final journeys out (I was going by, at the time, technically each region visited in the anime/season/series was 1-year long). Because he found a rule in the Kanto Region that if he travelled and competed in other regions for 5 years after a defeat on the Indigo Plateau, he could return to Kanto and challenge the Elite Four/Champion directly. It was his chance to compete against Lance in a professional match and see how he'd grown, so he chose the Kansai Region as his final journey. He travelled with Conway Shirou (whom he'd met in Shinou/Sinnoh) and a young girl named Mary Star. For this series I created new Starter Pokemon and new Legendary Pokemon, but I wasn't going to create a whole new PokeDex. XD

Along the way he and his companions clashed with an "evil team" and caught new Pokemon--or in Ash's case, the running gag was every single Pokemon he got in Kansai joined him willingly (not caught) or were given to him to take care of. Gallade was an independent Pokemon whose family (a Gardevoir and a Ralts) had been taken by the "evil team" and he joined with Ash to get his family back. I had fun writing it, developing out Conway's character more and.............doing the epic battle between Ash and Lance at the end.

Pokemon and characters (except the ones I created for the story) belong to Nintendo/GameFreak.

Haha yeah! Like when you lose your mom in a store as a kid and start panicking... at least, I did that, and still do sometimes!

Aww! Is it a big library? The one nearest me is so small you can't lose anyone in it haha!
I just lost my mom in the store today. I knew as soon as I called her, I'd find her. I spotted her just as she answered the phone! XD

Yeah.....we consolidated two branches and got a new 2-floor building instead. Downstairs is the kids department, but parents often sit at the Internet computers and let their kids sit in the “play area” alone. After too long kids forget where their parents actually are, even though the computers aren’t too far away. It’s kinda sad and kinda weird......
