I like the fronds over his head, it's an unusual element for the character design.

When he was younger, he hid his crown/crest with jewelry, but as an adult he lets it stay natural. :)
(It was probably more like............I-the-artist couldn't get the crown/crest to look right years ago, but I've gotten better now. XD)
