Spirit of the deer by Karla-Chan (critique requested)

Spirit of the deer (critique requested)

Karla-Chan

Yeah I know this is another old piece, but I promise I am not moving too many over and well new art will be coming soon! Although none of it will be posted on my dA account at all. I am going to be staying on here, Tumblr and Patreon. Although my dA did get a brand new piece just before I left, although I don't feel it would be appropriate to post it here.

Any way, this is one of the earlier pieces when I was first starting to experiment with the Art Nouveau style hair. I also really enjoy drawing skulls, I think I just really love shading them and the detail they have or something. However it is something that pops up in my art when I can think of an excuse.

I am actually kind of not, since I really loved every minuet of being over there. It was amazing. However it is nice to get a welcome back, to kind of remind me that home is good too.

Yeah, I was staying with my best friend and I don't get to see her often. So I was so sad to be leaving her behind too. Norway is really beautiful though on top of that, so yeah all and all I didn't like leaving.

I had a lot of fun! It just all went too quickly!

Oh nice :O I've never been there yet but I've heard its beautiful

Yeah it really is beautiful, and honestly there is a reason all the Scandinavian countries are some of the happiest in the world. Since they get so many things right and their adult reading rate is the highest in the world and university education is free. Since there is the view that if you are smart enough to go, then you will give your skills back to the society.

As well as it looking beautiful, because there are tree's everywhere. Even in the cities you can see it is surrounded by tree's. Then the mountains are really something else. However they run things really right and they seem to have a model that is a nice balance between allowing people to grow and achieve within society, and making sure the poorest are looked after too.

Great work and the textured background that looks like deer skin is an awesome idea! This one is my favorite in your gallery, but I like how you're enhancing your drawings by adding all kind of little details and symbols.
