Pumpkin Pie Dip by KajTaotsu

Pumpkin Pie Dip

KajTaotsu

A week a while back was rough for me and my friend, Moony, so I decided to go with something easy to try out and so we searched through my cookbooks and found this. Simple, interesting, and satisfying. It's like literally eating pumpkin pie filling, without the crust. Pretty sure if you put this into a crust and baked it, it'd be just like a regular pie.

Pumpkin Pie Dip

Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar (powdered sugar)
  • One 15oz can pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sauce/syrup

Equipment needed: Electric Mixer

Directions:

  1. Place the cream cheese in a medium bowl, or the one that is used for the mixer, and beat with the mixer on medium for 2 minutes until softened/smooth.
  2. Add in the confectioners' sugar and mix until incorporated (basically, when the cream cheese and the sugar mixed together give off a sort of sheen, almost like a pearlized look).
  3. Mix in the pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, and chocolate sauce/syrup until all ingredients are fully mixed into the dip. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

This dip goes with graham crackers, animal crackers, cookies, bananas, strawberries (SO GOOD, have to find or make a recipe combining strawberries and pumpkin), and much more for a sweet and tasty treat!
