Drawing of a Blood python (*Python brongersmai) that I did yesterday. Just getting to know more about these really cool snakes! So far I am only a ball python owner, but one day...*
Done in Prismacolor pencils. The blending looks nicer in real life! Particularly the dark red of the snake's back.
I'm not sure I like the way I cut the snake out from the original white background. It looked choppy if I did a plain magic wand select, so I used the feather tool... will probably keep messing with that.

That was super trippy and weird, but all the same, that is a gorgeously-colored python you have there.
