There are rumors and stories that Tcho-Tcho are wretched race of humanoids, hideous, dwarfish, hairless and inbred humanoids living in the more isolated plateaus of Asia. These mixed tales tell that they are beings not entirely of this world, tied to the Dreamlands. There are tales that these nasty entities have certain appetites that can only be satisfied by human flesh - and that through that consumption they steal the best traits of their victims for their own, growing stronger through the generations. Nineteen-year-old Tcho-Tcho Martha "Mar" Talbot would just like to say that while she's petite and rocking the hairlessness, she's not that small, and she certainly is not inbred or hideous - and neither is any Tcho-Tcho she's acquainted with.

As for the rest of that list, however, there's a little more truth. As a Tcho-Tcho (or at least half of one on her mother's side), if she's at one of the crossways between the real world and the Dreamlands - they have a tendency towards bouncing around - she can move between the two planes at will. In regards to eating human flesh… Well, a girl can't help her biological needs, can she? Mar is quite comfortable with those needs, and most days tries to satisfy them in ways that don't hurt anyone. Sometimes, though, a girl simply has to go out on the prowl, and whether it's for a meal or a date, this young woman wants to look good.

Mar is an original character and the third protagonist of M.E.A., while Tcho-Tchos are originally part of the mythos created by H.P. Lovecraft and his cohorts. This sketch of her was created by Gidg. Additionally, this first sketch of Mar's is my favorite - in large part due to it being pretty spot on with her figure, and I love that profile view of her face.
