From the original description:

"The other day, I discovered the Saharan cheetah (Northwest African cheetah) by accident. I was immediately spellbound. Very rare, these cheetahs have very short fur which is nearly white and smaller builds than the more common variety. The first image I saw was this one. I was struck with how gaunt the face looked compared to the normally rounded cheetah look. I headed to Wikipedia, did a bit of research, and eventually found images in color, upon which I based this design (throwing in a few artistic liberties). I have to say, I think I've found my new favorite big cat."
