Self-Painting Egg [Lopunny TF] by Joat

It was a quiet day. Sure, it was a holiday, but Nathan didn’t particularly have any plans for Easter, so for him, it was rather quiet indeed. He figured something interesting might happen while walking through a forest path, but no such luck. Usually, he'd have encountered at least a couple Pokémon by now on this route, but this time, none at all, outside of a couple small Pokémon scurrying out of view.

But then, just as he was about to head back home, he noticed something white in the grass out of the corner of his eye. In itself, it was not unusual to see something white, as flowers of many colors were blooming around here. But nonetheless, he decided to take another look, seeing not a flower, but an egg.

The egg was immediately recognizable as artificial, partially from its familiar glossy surface and partially from a thin line in the center, denoting where the egg would part. Despite looking fairly typical, though, there were two odd things about it. First was the white coloration. He’d never seen a white Easter egg before. They were always so colorful. But the second odd thing, of course, was the fact that it was here to begin with.

He looked around for any clues as to who might have left the egg, but found not a single hint. Then finally, he looked back at the egg, figuring he might find some sort of clue there. But instead, he only found something else quite puzzling, as now the very bottom of the egg was colored yellow. He picked it up curiously, wondering just how that happened. He was sure it wasn’t yellow just a moment ago.

In fact, he was so confused by this that he didn’t even notice how he could now feel the dirt path underneath his feet, despite having just been wearing shoes. Nor did he notice how he was now walking on the tips of his feet, nor how fuzzy they felt. He was too fixated on the mystery of the egg to notice any of that, a fascination which only grew as a yellow line began drawing itself around the center of the egg.

But at that point, as the line was being drawn, something happened that he could not fail to notice. It was right in his line of sight, after all, as it was happening to his wrists. Thick, pink-colored fuzz began rapidly growing from them, quickly growing larger and thicker as the line around the egg completed itself. Then, before he had a chance to process what had just happened and try to figure out what it might be, two orange lines, right above and below the yellow line, began drawing themselves in, as his arms were overtaken by short, light brown fur, starting from where the pink-colored fur was and expanding outward until the entirety of his hands and arms were covered in it. Alarmingly, his hands were reshaping s they were being covered in fur, looking more paw-like, now having three digits and no thumbs.

He tried dropping the egg, but he found that he couldn’t. Although his body otherwise still responded to his mental commands, it simply would not obey him when it came to that. But he could, at the very least, remove one of his hands – no, paws – from the egg, using it to feel the soft fur that had overtaken what was once human feet, but were now his pretty pink hind paws. Just then, he noticed that more color was appearing on the egg, this time some yellow at the top, with an orange stripe right below it. And as those were forming, he felt his ears elongating and moving to the top of his head, becoming somewhat heavier as it grew. The beginnings of his now light brown ears were pointed upward, but quickly bent downward, the short brown fur giving way to thick, pink fur. Even without the aid of a mirror, the shapes of the ears along with all of his other changes were enough to make it quite obvious what he was becoming: a shiny Lopunny.

Of course, though he now knew what was happening to him, that still didn’t help him in determining just how any of this was happening. Either way, the egg did not give him much time to dwell upon it as an orange dotted line began appearing on the lower part of the egg. At that point, he felt something short, thick, round, and quite fluffy forming just above his hind. Without even looking, he could tell it was the cute puff-tail of a Lopunny. But that was strange. He would have expected the growth of such a tail to make his pants feel uncomfortably tight, but even after the growth of his tail, they felt unusually loose. In fact, now that he thought about it, so too did his shirt. He hadn’t noticed it before now, but… was he shrinking?

At the upper part of the egg, some yellow polka dots were being painted in, as he felt fur growing above his eyes. His eyebrows were becoming much larger, now less eyebrows and more of a decoration for his face as they grew much longer, extending upward above the top of his head, now fluffy and pink.

At that point, from the top of the egg, the rest of it was starting to fill in with a light purple color. He felt his face being covered in fur, his mouth and nose extending outward into a rounded muzzle. His neck became thinner as it was taken over by the fur, then he watched as his torso grew that same light brown fur. At this point, he was rapidly starting to shrink down to a size more appropriate for a Lopunny, his pants threatening to fall if he didn’t hold them up. Except… “he” didn’t feel appropriate anymore. As the transformation was progressing, she was quickly beginning to feel less male and more female. And in addition to that, though it made her blush under her fur to realize it, she also felt quite cute. Given what she was becoming, of course, that was quite an appropriate feeling, but still a somewhat embarrassing one.

The changes continued downward, her hips widening significantly as her now-fuzzy legs reshaped themselves to be more Lopunny-like. And with that, her transformation into Lopunny was complete and not a spot of white was left on the egg. At that point, the egg spontaneously opened up and out flew a large puff of multi-hued confetti, as if to celebrate her newfound form.

Natalie giggled. A part of her felt like she shouldn’t particularly be in the mood for celebration at all. After all, she had been suddenly transformed into something else entirely and there would, needless to say, be a lot of adjustment to her life as a result. But at the same time, looking at her adorable new body, she couldn’t bring herself to dislike this at all, even if part of her felt like she should. Instead, she felt like hopping around in joy and heading back into town, ready to spread some Easter cheer with her newfound festive form.

If but only I had been a bit more on-task on uploading this backlog, I would have had these stories up in time for THIS year's Easter. Anyway, this was a request story for Nathan.
