An anthropomorphic gryphon, tripped up by the uneven surface of a strange land.

The story here is that he and his mate, civilized creatures both, were inadvertently transferred to our universe and run into a whole host of troubles there in a story inspired by Sting's "Hounds of Winter" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ahhcyj-pzO4 ).

Inked and colored in the style of Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers' "Runnin' Down A Dream" music video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1D3a5eDJIs ).

Prismacolor inks/markers on Bristol board. (Practically wiped out my entire collection of Cool Greys. Also, I'd like to thank my scanner for washing out/fading the colors and thus volunteering to be my next volunteer in an ongoing series of intense, height-related gravity experiments...)
