Bob Kiwi and Beak, exploring an old* shipwreck in tropical waters.

Birthday present for my brother, the original inspiration for the Bob Kiwi & Co. series. It doesn't really relate to any of the stories so far, but my family's been on a beach art kick for a while now and therefore that's where my brain defaulted. Five'll get you ten that I find a way to weave this into one of the pending new stories, anyways. ^_^;

Micron/Prismacolor inks, colored with Crayola watercolors. (In my defense, this is only the second time I've used watercolors since I was seven, so the only ones I have is the 8-pack from elementary school...) The paper is a medium-weight one meant for charcoals, but it actually takes watercolors better than some watercolor paper I've seen, so I'm using it while I feel my way around this medium.

  • Those familiar with shipwrecks and undersea corals/mussels/life may note that said shipwreck cannot possibly be as old as the ship's make/treasure would lead one to believe. This is precisely why my little feathered detectives are exploring the wreck.
