This particular pikachu is descended from a colony- clan of cutthroat chu pirates, but he himself (contrary to his lineage) vies to become a hero. To that end, he is often seen participating in world-class adventures, helping others along the way. The mark you see on his tail was branded on him a few moments after birth. (every member of his colony-clan receives one upon hatching)

His lineage hides a very small secret- and it is that every few decades a chu is born with very special abilities. Jett in particular has super-strength and speed, and can walk on thin air as if on the ground and his moves (Iron Tail, Brick Break, Zap Cannon, and Dig) when combined with said abilities can cause devastating damage. Fortunately, Jett is rather reluctant to show his fighting ability if at all, and cares for his friends more deeply, and would put be through hell for them and still smile.

A good companion all around with a resolve tougher than steel. Overall he's a good boy who works hard and plays harder, much to the dismay of his friends because of his powers. Sometimes he is known to be off on his own thinking about a life on the high seas just like his parents before him.
