Couldn't readily find large colored mallows but this does kind of parallel the disappointment of colored popcorn kernels being mostly uncolored when they pop. ;)

Wait, there's such a thing as colored popcorn kernels?!

They come naturally colored in yellow (most pop-ular color), red, blue, white or black and can also be dyed on the outside for other colors but all of these pop up white except for the bit of "skin" left in the middle of the popped kernel.
