I was very happy with how this turned out, especially since I had no references for Link's wings.

Link is an energy manipulator, able to use natural energy in the environment for many purposes, especially attacks and barriers. When she is backed into a corner in a fight, she forms her energy wings to be used either as a shield, for escape, or to attack. Although at times her wings form when more energy than she is able to handle is gathered into her body as a way of exerting it.
