A very, very dangerous monster. Maybe it's like one of the FOEs in the Etrian Odyssey-series of JRPGs, which are very much capable of decimating you if you run into them. ;)

Well, they tend to be really difficult, and if you're not a fan of Oldschool-JRPGs, then you might not really get into them. ^^"-
well I don't mind old games....but I'm not into JRPGs....eg. I never liked Final Fantasy. I found it hard to connect to the characters :o

Well, truth to be told, I'm not into Final Fantasy too. ^^" I dunno, I just find them to be pretty boring. :/ The characters also seem to be stereotypically broody or quirky too, it's not really all that appealing to me. ^^"-
Agreed :O its also hard sympathise with them when they mope and they always look 100% perfect like Barbie dolls.
"I am my own monster. Curse my clear skin, clear eyes, perfect proportioned body, youthful voice, gelled hair and ability to lift improbably huge swords with my withered arms. Why can't I be like Greg from next door with the second tongue protruding from his forehead and uncontrollable achene--now that's a guy without any issues!"

:p Well I don't know, there is a distinct lack of well....fantasy at times, and its just a bunch of OTT sword waves and a really dated combat system.
also, the magical creatures are few and often not very inspiring, mostly cute things that save your game for plush toys and a few cat peoples and 1 reptile people, I think more to combat the Khajitti and Argonians of Elder Scrolls.
