Heyo! I'm Iryz, I'm a weird fox thing from Arkansas who writes software for a job, and screams at Blender as a hobby.

Most of my work is in still 3D renders, usually involving funny space animals doing funny space animal things, though I do also make some mocap animations once in a blue moon (usually also of the same funny space animals doing the same funny space animal things!).

This page is largely a place for me to put some of my 3D renders, as well as to let folks know if or when I'm posting some animations on YouTube. Hopefully you enjoy them! :3

Heyas! I wanted to make a quick journal to introduce myself, come say hi, and let folks know what I'm doing around these here parts.

So hi! I'm Iryz, I'm a 3D artist (using that term very loosely) who also sometimes makes animations on YouTube. Generally speaking, my main focus in my renders is on sci-fi/space themed stuff, along with some occasional "modern" themed stuff. On occasion, I will also do some NSFW renders, but those are usually just with friends and stuff and I likely won't post most of that stuff here.

I'm agender, pan, and poly, which is basically like if you were to put the entire concept of gender and relationship norms on a plate and yeet it into a dumpster. For me personally, I'm just not super interested in subscribing to those concepts for my own life.

Uhhhhhletsseeuhhh I've been in the fandom for a long time I guess? Almost 10 years of furry fandom experience here and there under my belt. Which I guess isn't that long compared to some other folks, but that's also longer than the majority of YouTube commenters have been alive, so... yeahthereyougo. I've been all over the place in the fandom and have a considerable amount of experience with all kinds of topics and areas in the fandom. From IRC to forums to MUCKs, I've been just about everywhere.

Personality-wise, I'm fairly reserved and introverted, which is very much a learned personality trait. Like I said, I've been in the fandom for a while and as a part of that, I've had the great pleasure of experiencing some of the worst behavior the fandom has to offer, which includes various forms of harassment and stalking. As such, I keep to myself a lot of times because boy howdy is dealing with that inconvenient as ever. I try to be friendly and helpful when I can, but please don't take it personally if you catch distant vibes from interacting with me. That said, if you ask me to explain something about my fiction worlds or something like that, be ready to have your ear talked off.

Which leads me (not very smoothly) into what I'm doin here. I decided to hop onto here to create a more organized gallery of some of my stuff. Primarily, I wanted to provide folks with a way to see my (sometimes neat?) 3D renders without having to follow me on my private Twitter, which is basically the only other place that I'm active these days. In addition, I wanted to be able to have a central place to put this stuff for easy access so people who do follow me on Twitter don't have to sift through 750,000 cat memes in order to see one render. Over the course of the day (or maybe next few days?), I'll be slowly uploading some of my past works and stuff, and probably also filling in some info on characters and the like that you'll be seeing throughout my renders. I don't want to absolutely annihilate the frontpage of Weasyl with my stuff all at once, and I want to make sure I'm taking time to tag everything thoroughly and appropriately, so I'll be goin' slow.
