Sometimes you just want to make 8-bit sprites of asshole wizards that like to use sending orbs at 3 in the frickin' morning. Weyrwen isn't the most developed character in the world, but he IS a total jackass that's fun to draw, and that's all you need some days.

I was going for the style you see in a lot of Final Fantasy 1-3 sprites, in which they use a LOT of negative space under the assumption the background will be solid black. It's a fun aesthetic!
