Riaag Bough-Breaker, poet, chef, and guardian, in a rather confrontational pose.
This is definitely one of my favorite pieces out of the entire set I did, partially because of how different it is from everything else I did. That and Riaag's a handsome young buck regardless of his self-image issues. His hair and beard still get extraordinarily out of control at the slightest provocation, but what can you do, really.

I've been doing some one-off studies using heavier brushwork like this paired with pencil shading, so definitely! Time will tell if I post any, but experimenting is a lot of fun.
