At AZFC 2013, we ran a few demo games using the Legasal setting of Bayleon, a continent completely populated by anthropomorphics. During the 'general audience' game this River Otter Rogue was one of the characters the players had to choose from.

Many of the Norreathan cultures have forgotten that the river otters of the north are their friends, not those of their otter neighbors to the south. The village you protect has not. Many have treated you kindly and offered you work in times of need. In their times of need you have fixed ships, scouted bandit camps, and carried letters to distant towns. Always in your travels you have come back here, not comfortable away from the other cultures in the wild with other otters, and willing to bear the burden of ignorant travelers for the company of others. Recently the village you call home has come under attack by a traitor and the very sea otters ignorant folk mistake you for. You are set on defending what you love with your very life.
