At AZFC 2013, we ran a few demo games using the Legasal setting of Bayleon, a continent completely populated by anthropomorphics. During the 'general audience' game this Red Fox Wizard was one of the characters the players had to choose from.

While there are many common and brutal mages among the world (particularly among war-like Norreathans) you fancy yourself more subtle and gentle with your magic, able to quite effortlessly put light from the eyes of fools with a spell and be on your peaceful way. As a rather reclusive mage since the fall of the red foxes from political flavor (much due to revolting rats murdering most of them) you prefer to have a quiet life, avoid fights and fools who seem to feel the lack of a red fox great chief means that the red foxes are toothless. Recently your peace has been shattered by the near war-like problems with Odelleska, a rogue ship captain and a treasonous lord together attempting to conquer the town you live in. There’s no rest in this world it seems, a wizard’s job is never done.
