I can see where folks got the idea it has a Pat Nagel vibe with how you've got the contrast between the white fur of the subject and the black of her clothes and hair. Have you been looking at some 1980's playboy illustrations lately?

Well, then you should definitely give Patrick Nagel's artwork a good look see as well. Stickysheep's work always has a solid contrasting use of negative/positive of black and white. She rarely colors from what I've seen in her gallery, but the obvious difference that is distinguishes it yours and difficult to pin as influenced by her is your use of color in the positive space.

Thanks, I'll take a look at Nagel's stuff. I was inspired by Sticky's strong contrast and line-art but I also love color and saturation :D

Yeah, kind of a Patrick Nagel vibe going on, here. I think you're right about her spine, though; that looks painful (hence the wail). She looks a treat, though!
