Back in his home plane of Ravnica, Merry was a normal Minotaur before they were abducted by the Simic Combine and used as a guinea pig for their experiments. He would have his body altered and mutated in various ways over the years, including incorporating dna from bio-luminescent fish into their being. This would go on until they found themselves plucked from Ravnica and dropped into Mylk. After being imprisoned for so long, freedom was confusing to the bovine and they would be left to wander, that is until they found their way to the temple of Maia. The clerics there would show the minotaur kindness they had not known in years, and it wasn't long until Merry joined their ranks. Now a faithful convert, the blue moo hopes to spread the goddess' word to all who wander into Mylk...
